A fantastic discovery from the mountains to the sea, among nature, art and tradition
When you think of Spain, the Pyrenees immediately come to mind. And of course they do, since the country is crossed by some of the roads that have made cycling history.
You will ride fantastic routes in a very characteristic environment: a different but no less fascinating landscape from the Alps. It will make you proud of your choice.
Of course, there is also plenty of opportunity for those who like to be surrounded by the sea, pedalling along unique roads: such as Sa Calobra in Majorca, with its breathtaking curves and winding roads that can be cycled practically all year round.
Yet, Spain also means historic cities and wonderful architecture: the best complement to many cycling trips.
An example of this splendid combination? Andalusia, where you can alternate a visit to the Alhambra in Granada with the cycling challenge of reaching the Pico de Veleta (the highest paved road in Europe) or the barren Puerto de la Ragua, also in the Sierra Nevada Park.
